Ballet is the art of dance that requires strength, elasticity, elegance and grace all at once. It can be difficult to master and takes lots of patience and practice to learn. If the ballet is fast becoming your passion and you´re ready to make hours of practice, so it may just be that you are ready to invest in a career in ballet.

Ballet can be studied in all ages. The girls who study ballet develop strong bodies, spatial and temporal awareness and improve their coordination. Ballet requires perseverance and working hard. Do not expect to become a dancer at night and you will not be a better dancer simply by attending classes and do not try your hardest. Good training and time is what makes a great dancer.

Before your class:

1) Stretch your body as you can. Check if you stretch the class teacher. Stretching is important to loosen the muscles, strengthen muscles and stretch positions. It ´important that you do at the beginning of each session of the ballet, including pre-performance.It sometimes it´s important to stretch every day for at least 5 minutes. This is so your body will Beom used for stretching, and it comes naturally to you, without the risk of injury later in the class.

2) Learn the names of the phases. Learn the names of the stages before the first class so as not to feel overwhelmed. Even if you have only to look beyond the words seem so familiar with them. Most of them are French, so do not be shocked if they do not sound exactly as they appear. See if your local shop is a dictionary of ballet dance, you could borrow. Do not try something new without the presence of the teacher, because you might find the wrong way, and to develop bad habits. Good class will teach you slowly and carefully in the first few months, so do not be too worried about not knowing much. The enthusiasm and desire is the key!

3) Choose ballet slippers and have your shoes fit snugly but not too much (which should fit like a glove). There are different styles and types of shoes, so ask your teacher what works best for you. Do not buy shoes to be, because your feet seem flexible when it notes and are flat. You must install at the point where the cable connects a bit loose (just finished cable is necessary, it is intended to tighten the shoes are too big).

4) Know that will begin each class in the ballet bar. Here you learn the basics of ballet that will be important as you go. You could spend the early classroom learning all at the top of the steps and positions. This is vital for building strength, agility and flexibility, so you do not see it as wasted time. Failure to comply would not be able to dance. Even professional dancers begin each class to the head.

5) listen to and respect their teacher. Respect is an important part of ballet. Do not talk with friends or yourself during class. If you do not follow the etiquette of the ballet is likely to be expelled from the class.
