You will find them in the deep deep amniotic fluid of very remote locations. The Pintade Maxima oysters produce thick nacre which surrounds the pearl cell nucleus but only when they are presented with iperfect natural conditions. South Sea pearls from Australia Indonesia and the Philippines are the large pearl and there are two main types white south sea pearls and the rich golden south sea pearls. Golden south sea pearls have the luminous quality of the lily-white pearl but also the deep nearly metallic lustre of the black pearl. They are the most valued pearls found on the grocery store.
