Receiving The Termination Notice |

| There are a number of things to keep in mind when you have
been served your pink slip. This could possibly make or
break your chances of being reinstated or even finding a new
job. Following this can ensure that you can prevent or break
out of your unemployment slumber easily. When the employee is served their "pink slip of doom" first, try to keep a cool head and calm down. Do not show signs of worry. Try to take a breather and take a break if you have to, as long as it keeps you level headed. Worrying about the future is one mistake most employees automatically make, and it could lead to silly mistakes that could hinder their chances for possible reinstatement. Do not make this mistake and calm down for awhile. Make sure that the details of your termination are correct and that everything is final before you start vacating. If the company is willing to compensate and change ideas, settle for it immediately. If they offer a job that is not really that stable but still pays decently, a free lancing work, transfer to another location, or an appointment to a lower position or another job, it's okay. Just work your way back up. It's a whole lot better than thinking on how to stretch your last pay for the weeks to come. However, if there is the chance that your termination was done out of spite, or was done wrongly, then the employee can try to make please to the management informally. Talking to the HR or to the boss in informal situations or in casual situations can help. Always make sure that communication is open between both parties. But if all else fails, and you believe that you were wrongfully terminated, a formal complaint should be made and an appeal be done for your case. Write a formal letter of grievance and make out a polite appeal to have your termination reviewed. Make sure to do so quickly, as there is only a small window for you to submit your appeal. All manner of documents should be completed before you go and appeal for your case before the authorities of the company. |
