  Looking to own your own business is going to be a great thing, but you will want to avoid purchasing distributorships for sale. These have many negatives that can create issues that you might not have to deal with right away when you first start out. Here are some of the reasons that you will want to avoid this type of business plan and instead start with direct sales straight to your customers.

You might think that this is going to be a promising way to get started, but the problem can be that it is that this can be a poor choice when compared to the other options that are available. Here are some other reasons why this is so poor to enter into.

A great reason why this is a bad choice to make is you might only be getting a percentage of each sale. So even though you would have your own company you will not have the joy of making the full sale price. That is because you could only be getting ten percent for a job that you spent several weeks doing. So the chance of making money while present could be low and very time consuming to reach any good level.

Something else that you are going to see is you are going to have to rely on someone else to provide the product to your customer. So rather than being able to give them the product right away you will have to take an order and have it shipped out to them. This alone could lead to lost sales because many people are going to want to get the product right away.

You might run into the issue of the company being out of stock. If they run out of stock while your out in the field you could end up not realizing that and have twenty sales for that product, but be unable to fill the order.

The descriptions of the products could be odd sounding to you, but since you are not going to be selling it straight to your customer you need to rely on that description. You could end up getting into trouble by doing that though because at times you will notice that the description looks nothing like what the item is and you will start to receive complaints from your customers and have to return their money to them.

Something else to consider is that you might not be able to control the pricing for the item that your selling. At times since you are going to be using someone elses distributing you will not be able to set your price. Even if your local competition is selling the item for half of what you are your hands will be tied to do anything about the price on your part.

Opening your own business can be a blessing for many people. However, the problem can happen when you start one up that you might fall into the trap of purchasing a distributorships for sale. If you do that you might want to see how you can get out of those because of all the negatives that are found with these programs.
