Unfortunately, the vast majority of individuals who use
videos to promote their businesses are less than satisfied
with the results. If this sounds like you, it is time to do
some research. That's the beauty of the internet. You can

get it right. According to most experts, less is more when it comes to video marketing. In other words, your audience does not want details, they just want an overview of what your products or services to do to address their needs. Therefore, the focus of your marketing videos must not be on your products, rather, it must be on the viewer. Viewers want to know what is in it for them. They want you to tell them how their lives will improve by them using your products or services. As such, your job as a marketer is to convince those in your niche market that the answer to their problems lies in their use of your offer. You have to let them know that they will be acting to their detriment if they decide not to take advantage of your offer. When someone watches your video, you have to make them feel as though they are the sole beneficiary, and you gain very little. You can do this by focusing heavily on the benefits to the buyer. Show the buyer exactly what is in it for them. Just make sure that you can back up your assertions. There is nothing worse than all hype and no substance. Word of this will get around quickly, and your business will suffer as a result if this is the case. A mistake which I commonly see marketers make, is more of an assumption than an explicit mistake. They assume that once someone watches their video, they are immediately ready to whip out their credit card and purchase three of what they are selling. The fact of the matter is that this generally is not the case. This is why I always stress the importance of getting your foot in the door. Offer additional information, and send it via email. Once you have a viewer's email address, you have the opportunity to market to them in the future. At some point in the future perhaps they will be ready to take advantage of your offer. When it comes to your video, you have to allow the viewer to paint a picture in their head. Essentially, you want them to view how great things will be for them once they take advantage of your offer. Being able to provide this vision requires that you know your target customer. Knowing your target customer will enable you to deduce what their needs and wants are. Once you know this, you will know what your viewer would like certain aspects of their life to look like, and create a video which paints this picture for them. You need to make your video so convincing that a viewer would be remiss to pass up such an opportunity. Those who master this skill make money online beyond expectation. To successfully make money online, it is of the utmost importance that you know your niche market inside and out. This is the only way you will know what your target is looking for, and exactly what you need to provide to them. Once you have figured this out, you are ready to receive some highly targeted traffic through video marketing. |
