| Writing articles is a great way to drive traffic to your
site but some of us write ineffective articles. By missing
these key points, we spend time writing articles but not
getting the returns we want for the time we spend. Keep
these points in mind and you are guaranteed to improve your
article writing as well as increase the number of
conversions they receive. First things first, you need to build trust with your article. The reader has to get a sense that you are an expert in what you are talking about so that they will feel that the link you provided is something worth clicking. Some techniques for building trust are: 1. Use questions that the reader can relate to. For instance, if you are writing about building fish tanks, you might ask ´Are you having difficulty building balanced fish tanks?´ With a question like this, the reader will get a sense that you know what they are going through and you are willing to give them information that will be useful to them alleviating the difficulty they are experiencing. 2. Another important way to build trust is to use expert language. Each niche has a particular jargon that the reader will be able to relate to. Use this language and the reader will recognize that you know what you are talking about. Secondly, do the research ahead of time. Writing great article content means that you have to do research at some point or another. By doing this ahead of time, you give your brain time to digest the information you found and come up with more creative ideas than if you just go straight from reading what someone else wrote into writing your own article. Doing research ahead of time also means you should have enough content to write multiple articles without having to go research again. If you wait to figure out what you are writing about each day, you will end up spending a lot of time researching and coming up with ideas instead of actually writing. Another point to keep in mind is to use more than one article directory. By using more than one directory, you get your article out to many more potential readers. This is probably the most important thing you can do with your article because you spent the time writing it and this is where you get to maximize who gets to see it. Lastly, you need to learn time management skills. This is another important aspect of gaining profit off of your articles because the more quality articles you can put out the more returns you will see from it. Plan your work ahead of time, brainstorm and come up with numerous ideas and then dedicate the time to article writing. You can also come up with strategies that compliment your own strengths and weaknesses. If you have the resources, hiring some help is another way to manage your time. Hire someone to do the research or come up with ideas or write and edit your articles. Two hands working at the same task will get it done much faster than one, not to mention that they might have different ideas than you that you can also write about.
