  Considering that I started promoting my web page, I came across a wide array of internet directories, and I have to admit this question has been bugging me since then. Are Internet Directories any great for the web?

Let´s commence by obtaining the obvious out of the way very first. The principal purpose of web directories would be to promote internet web sites. This is not often performed directly, by directing users via their links, given that web directories don´t get that much traffic, but indirectly.

Neither the MS-Dos type graphics in 32 colours, nor the sponsored links or suggested internet websites.

I seriously hope that the future will bring superior internet directories to the scene. Let´s be honest! You will find so numerous wonderful websites out there that surfers do not know about, and so little places where you´ll be able to learn about them. Well, this is my opinion on internet directories.
