Most known in the UK for her fantastic range of beautiful floral fragrances, Anna Sui is a world class fashion designer. Not only is Anna Sui responsible for a range of fragrances, she also designs clothes, cosmetics and also accessories. A designer not known to shy away from bold new designs, Anna Sui likes to put her mark on all her products with the use of stunning bright colours, florals and jovial designs. Anna Sui has proven to be a massive hit worldwide, with the American designers’ products being sold all across America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Anna Sui says she was always a budding designer, even from the age of 4 where she took a keen interest in fashion and knew she would be a designer one day. Highly interested in materials and clothes from an extremely young age, Sui knew that she needed to go to New York to study fashion in order to be given her big chance to be a real success. Sui is a highly motivated lady and she made sure that her ambitions of attending fashion school in New York came true when she attended Parson’s The New School for Design. Here it was to be the making of Anna Sui and she outshone her classmates.

After graduating, Anna Sui quickly landed a job at fashion house, Charlie’s Girls. Here she proved to be extremely successful and eventually meant that Sui would create her own line, that we all know and love today. Sui created a few key pieces, all of which were quickly snapped up by American retail giants Bloomingdales and Macy’s. Since then the Anna Sui label has not looked back and has expanded significantly.

The original and flagship Anna Sui store is based in the trendy SOHO area of New York, where the store features the signature lavenders and florals that are now synonymous with Anna Sui. This concept store has been rolled out globally and has seen success unequivocally.

Anna Sui is certainly a designer that celebrities and other brands want to be associated with. Take for example celebrities Naomi Campbell, Mischa Barton and Paris Hilton; all of whom are huge fans of the American designer. With accolades such as being named one of Time Magazines 5 top fashion icons of the decade. Additionally Sui was given a Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to fashion, as previously won by the likes of Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Diane von Furstenburg.

Anna Sui is a designer that many other brands are eager to work alongside. However, to keep the exclusivity of the Anna Sui brand there has only been a few collaborations to date. One such collaboration is Anna Sui with well-being footwear brand FitFlop.

Working side-by-side, Anna Sui has brought beautiful style and fashion to the FitFlop sandal. The FitFlop Fiorella is the product of the Anna Sui and FitFlop partnership. FitFlop is a revolutionary footwear products made up of a range of sandals, shoes and even boots.
