There is a variety of options for Tanzania adventure travel depending on your interests and how much adventure you seek. Mount climbing to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro is the main extreme adventure in Tanzania. There is also more tame adventures to experience that can be just as exciting if that is where your interests lie. If you like animals, you can enjoy a safari Tanzania adventure or even a game hunting safari if that is your style. For those interested in culture visiting local villages and learning about the different ethnic groups in Tanzania can be a fun cultural adventure.

How much of a Tanzania adventure you want when climbing Mount Kilimanjaro will determine what route you decide to take. There are three different routes with varying difficulties to appeal to those with beginning to advanced mountain climbing skills. The adventure is not only in the climb for some, but also the more rugged tent accommodations along the tougher routes.

A Tanzania safari adventure is something that pretty much anyone can do. There are different types of safaris you can do depending on what you want to see and do. Game drives are the most common way of going on safari and a few places even offer night drives, which can be an adventurous way of seeing the animals that are more active at night. There are also some places that allow you that have walking safaris. Lastly, if you want to hunt and obtain a trophy animal to export home, a hunting safari might be the Tanzania adventure you want to take.

Cultural Tanzania adventures are a great experience for those that enjoy experiencing other cultures. Cultural adventures are also great for families traveling with children as it can be a fun eye opening educational experience for the kids along with the adults. Many of the ethnic groups have villages that you can visit and watch or even participate in their traditions from dancing to cooking. This is the best way to really see what life is like in Tanzania for various ethnic groups or at least learn about how the cultures lived before modern times. Cultural adventures are easy to add on just one day cultural tours near places you are experiencing other things in Tanzania such as visiting a local village near a national park where you are going on a Tanzania safari adventure.
