Nespresso Espresso Machine Brings Back Memories Of Italy!

I got my first apartment when I went away to college this last semester. The distractions of living in the dorm were more than I could bear, and it didn't cost that much more. To help me get started, my friends and family had a housewarming shower for me. There were many useful gifts, but some I couldn't even identify, much less use. My parents gave me a Model D290 Concept Nespresso Espresso Machine, which, of course, turned out to be my favorite gift. I guess it's true, your parents know you better than you think they do.

The coffeemaker is a great tool for those of us who enjoy luxurious coffee drinks at home. It combines contemporary design with programmable liquid dosing so that fixing the perfect cappuccino and latte every time is simple. The espresso machine brews coffee using Nespresso capsules so that it's also mess-free. The 40 ounce removable reservoir and an auto-frothing attachment allow you to perfect your technique and take the guesswork out of measuring. With four buttons for control, there is no one who can't brew perfect coffee with this coffee maker.

You stop and start steaming by pressing the buttons on the left side of the machine and you can choose your cup size by pushing the buttons on the right side. To heat up the machine, just push the on button and the light blinks to let you know that its working. When all four buttons light up , it's to let me know the brewing temperature has been reached. This takes about one minute. To open the lid I lift the lever and then I put the Nespresso Coffee Capsules, foil side down, in the brewing position. I close the lid, choose my cup size and the espresso machine starts brewing.

This espresso machine comes with a supply of espresso capsules, containing 6.5 grams of coffee, and a supply of lungo capsules, containing 7.5 grams of coffee. My parents bought this espresso machine for me, but I think that they got a great deal! It provides comfort after a night of studying and helps me get going in the early mornings. I've really enjoyed the variety of coffee drinks that I have been able to make with this machine.

Before I got the Nespresso Espresso Machine, my routine was to have a cup of regular coffee at home in the morning and a Latte or Cappuccino after classes from a coffee shop or grocery store. The cost was over $3, plus tip. Over the length of a month, I easily spent $90. The Coffee drinks were never the same, one to the next. The quality of the coffee was never the same and the baristas each had different levels of skill. Sometimes the quality was so poor that I ended up throwing the drink away, leaving me with a feeling of waste. My local coffee shop went out of business shortly after school started. They were the most consistent of my coffee providers, and also the least expensive. The timing of my parents gift has helped me save a lot of money and has also helped me produce a consistent, inexpensive espresso every time.
