Can Budget Mixers Rival The Big Brands?

Budget mixers, depending on what ingredients are used in them, can be a suitable substitute for big brand mixes. For instance, oftentimes people will buy a cheaper or budget mixer rather than a premium brand that is well-known and to them the taste is almost exactly the same. The difference in this is that they have spent at least five dollars less than buying the expensive well branded one.

It is more often than not that many of the big brands are not made to a higher quality or standard but because they have a famous name they can raise their price often three or four dollars higher than unknown brands. It is unfair to the consumer for these prices to be so much higher and usually the consumer is naive to the idea that they are wasting money on something that is not any better than it´s cheaper counterpart.

There are instances when buying the cheaper brand is noticeable and can cause issues for people though. You really need to read the label and see what the ingredients are, you do not want to buy a mixer that has so much sugar it is hard to drink and it often changes the flavor of the drink. Also looking at calorie content is important you do not want to be wasting calories in your drink mixer because it has additives to make the shelf life on it longer. A mixer is there to enhance the flavor of the beverage you have chosen to drink and having one that is not up to par can really make the drink a bad one.

Two drinks that certainly need a higher quality of mixer by far would be the coke and squash. You do not want to use the wrong mixers in these because it can really alter the taste of the drink.

If you are the proprietor of a bar or restaurant, you may have a tough choice on your hands. The more discerning customer may be able to tell you are using cheaper mixers. If you are plying expensive brand vodkas and spirits and mixing them with poor quality mixers, then you may be doing your business a disservice. Also, if the brands are on display for all to see, then having famous brand names can raise people´s opinions on your business. So deciding on which mixer brand to choose depends on your business and your customers.
