HIIT True Metabolic Acceleration

There are a few things that go into weight loss; the two main contributing factors are going to be first exercise and second diet. The reason these are both totally necessary all comes down to the simple mathematics of the situation, it is called the in vs. out formula.

Here is how it works, look at the calorie consumption you have throughout a total day. Now look at how much caloric burn you have.

If you are burning more calories than you are ingesting, then go figure, you are going to start losing weight. How exactly do you know how many calories you are burning daily?

Well, you take your BMI subtract that from your total weight, and then you subtract another fifteen percent for your bones, and even another 15 percent for organs and other such nonsense. Normally this will give your anywhere from 60 to 50 percent of your weight that is actually consuming calories.

For every one pound you are using approximately fifty calories a day, so if you weight 160 you need at least 400 calories to keep your muscles. Then you need about a thousand calories just to feed your body, so about 14 hundred calorie diet should be low enough to lose weight.

Though, many people have different weights because of their basal metabolic rate, which varies from person to person. Some people are going to be extremely skinny their entire lives because they simple metabolize their foods like Tasmanian tigers.

Others are not going to be as fortunate. Luckily, even if you were unlucky enough to be born with the metabolism of a slug there are still ways you can speed it up.

High intensity interval training is the most effective and well known way to increase your digestive speed. The body starts burning calories so that it can keep up with what you are doing throughout the day, but what if you just tricked your body into burning calories?

That is exactly what HIIT does. For two minutes you work at full and max capacity then you take a one minute rest and then you go for two more minutes.

This method of exercise sends a signal to the body saying 'we need more caloric burn to keep up with this guy', but after you have done if for three or four reps, 8 minutes, you can stop and the caloric burn will continue for a good forty eight hours.

That is the true beauty of HIIT exercise. So whether you are ten pounds overweight or a hundred you should use high intensity interval training to speed up your metabolism and drop those pounds.
