| There is a prominent fish measuring regarding 10 feet and live in fresh water. This fish has a flat head with a log mouth fitted with chisel like teeth on its upper jaw like those of an alligator. This makes the fish be called alligator gar. It is found in still fresh water underneath vegetation where it is having the capacity to attack its prey unnoticed. This fish feeds on meat and may weigh as much as 200 pounds and above when totally mature. Despite this fish having a prominent body and massive teeth that are scary, it’s only dangerous to fellow fish only. It hunts by waylaying unsuspecting fish roaming along the shoal waters or beneath the vegetation and attacking them. There are make faith stories that this fish is dangerous to man but this is more of misconception. People who have been attacked have been victims of crocodile alligators which are sworn foes to man and other land animals. Nonetheless, you better not discount this creature as harmless since it may turn violent whether or not attacked exactly like any animal would retaliate whether or not its life is threatened. Fishermen have been victims of these attacks. The body of the alligator gar is covered with a rough scaly skin. This skin has a light blue color. The body of the fish is massive and large. The big body makes it easy for fish hunters to kill these fish using bows and arrows. The fish similarly features a flat head with chisel teeth exactly like an alligator. The alligator gars are fresh water fish. They are frequent in the Southern Side of the US. The mutual weight of this fish is roughly 200 pounds but there was one that was found in the Colarado basin by a local fisherman in the county that had a total weight of 360 pounds. AGs are frequent origins of meat since they give big amounts of meat. Common hunting instrumentation utilized are hooks and nets. Those using hooks are supposed to have hooks that are attached to strong chains that have capability to repel the strength that the fish do retaliate with. There are other fishermen who use bows and arrows. Once this fish is caught and brought to the surface, it’s advisable to kill it initial.
