Do you get dreams about garden slugs laughing at you in a wild manner as you cannot kill them? The very next morning, you would search different ways to kill slugs and even try all the possible solutions. What do you get in return? Did the slug control technique work? If yes, then it’s really great. However, it is important to beware as it might just be a temporary solution. They might just return back again and start laughing at you. So, be ready and try out another way!

If you do not want to opt for any harmful chemicals to control pest, then let’s try a natural pest control method. Here, you do not have to buy any pesticides or bug killer pill. Just look around, and nature will give you the answer.

The first answer is to bring insects in or near your garden. Yes, invite insects that prey on other pests who eat our vegetables. Well, this reminds me of a statement, your enemies’ enemy is your friend. So, befriend insects who eat other pests. Now the question arises; how does one attract these helpful insects? Simple, grow plants that attract these predatory insects. Ladybugs, which eat aphids, can be invited by planting dill or Queen Anne’s lace. You can even plant sunflowers near your garden to invite pirate bugs as they also eat aphids. Likewise, welcome bugs through parsley to bring an end to moths, beetles and flies.

So, do you think you can have a pest control solution ready? Anyways, you can even choose the next solution, in case you do not want to fraternize with insects. Grow plants that repel insects. At least, it won’t grouse you out with the feeling of befriending dirty-looking bugs.

There are many plants that can help you to get rid of garden slugs. Marigolds, catnip or citronella grass are some of the plants that resist mosquitoes. If common garden slugs like Japanese beetles, aphids and other beetles are irritating you by destroying your vegetable garden, then Garlic plant is the ultimate solution. Again, marigolds will also help to fend off many different plant-eating insects. Its better to befriend plants than any insects, isn’t it?

Who knew that the answer could be all of these? They are simple and easily available. With this one can strongly believe that every problem comes built-in with a solution. All you need to do is look around with a vigil eye.

Both the solutions could be better than calling the pest control companies who use harmful chemicals and pesticides. These are not very difficult things; you can get in touch with any gardener or horticulturist to guide you.

Now, please do not say that you don’t have a solution to how to get rid of slugs. Taking care of your garden can be an easy task now. You can eat healthy food as the vegetables are slug-free.

Pest control is in your hands now.
