| When darkness falls it seems that's when people come out of
the woodwork that are bent on thievery or just plain
damaging. At any rate, it is ones property that is at risk.
Because of this problem it is important that every possible
form of protection be initiated. One way to do this is to
have infrared security cameras. Having one of these cameras gives one an extra sense of security against invasion. If there is a break-in one has a picture record of who the culprit is. There are many different lenses, which take a picture at different ranges and angle of view so one can be covered in any situation. These cameras are of great assistance when police have to be called on the scene. Often they can take one look at the picture and identify the guilty party. Each person or business has a different situation. It may be inside or outside a building, a need to cover one area or several. With one or more of these cameras, one is fully covered in any situation. Many businesses have the camera focused on their front door, the parking lot, the cashier's station and any other areas which might attract undesirable actions. Cameras can be obtained to cover distances of short or long range. The camera's range and lens depends on the particular model purchased. Day or night makes no difference, one will be able to see the picture very clearly. This type of infrared with LEDs has been used by the security industry as well as the army and navy for years in their night maneuvers. It has been found to be very effective and has saved many of their lives. Keeping surveillance on a parking lot, for example, would require an entirely different camera than one to be focused on a front door. With a night vision camera, for example, the nighttime vision range depends on the number and size of infrared LEDs on the camera. Cameras based on this principle have been used in the security industry for years. The average infrared camera will reach a night vision range between fifteen and fifty feet but the more expensive ones can reach one hundred fifty feet or greater. They produce a clear picture with complete details in both day and night operation. However, at night or when the light is dim the picture will switch from color to black and white and use the infrared LEDs to maintain image quality. There are many different models of infrared security cameras available. From small to large, from a short distance to long, they are designed to fulfill anyone's needs. They provide excellent coverage for any area inside or out of a building or house and are the answer to any desire for more protection. |
