| Use pay per click in your internet advertising marketing campaign if you
want a fast and effective way to promote your internet
business. As the name suggests, it has something to do with link clicking. Your objective is to use sales ads that are linked to your website. When people click the ad, they go directly to your website. Your ad has limited space so you need to write concisely yet persuasively in order to get more people to click through to your website. You will have three lines and a place for your headline to work with. Grab the reader with your headline and entice him to read through your ad and then want to go to your website. This will take basic copy writing skills. Look at the other ads on the page to get an idea of how others write ads. Use your favorite search engine and pull up a search results page in your target niche. On the far right side of the page you will see a column heading, sponsored sites. The ads in that column are pay per click ads. Each time someone clicks on the ad, the person placing the ad is charged the price he or she has bid for that particular place on that search engine page. The higher the ad is ranked, the higher the pay per click price. Do not click the ads for the sake of clicking them or to view that person´s website. This is not good internet marketing etiquette because you will only be adding to that marketer´s ad cost. You can learn a lot however, by simply reading the ads. Once you have an idea of what pay per click ads look like, you can create your pay per click account. This is simple to do. All you have to do is follow the easy to follow account building steps. Once you have your account ready, you can create your first ad campaign. Name your campaign and then use the keyword tool to find the keywords you will target with your campaign. Enter the name of your online niche into the keyword submit window and you will find several keywords that relate to your market. Now write your ad pick and set a bid for each particular keyword. It is best to start off with a bid of six cents per click. Depending on the popularity of your keyword that bid will put you on the first page of results or it will not be accepted because the bid is too small. It is better to start off with the lowest bid to find out how much you will have to bid up to get on the first page. This can be an art, so you will develop your bidding skill as you learn. Once you learn how to use pay per click effectively, you will discover it is a great way to promote your online business. |
