| Commonly, we all have dreams and goals in life that we want
to achieve. In our life, we commonly encounter failures if
we fail to do the things that need to be done, also similar
with leadership. A leader only fails to become a good leader
if they fail to perform or execute their responsibility. The
good thing about failure is it shapes us to be a better
person. It makes us strong, firm, and serves as motivation
not to repeat the same mistakes again. These are good
self-help leader values that we can benefit from
failures. In this life, we are the leader of our journey. All of us have "leadership traits" within us. These traits that we have in us will help us to be motivated in achieving our dreams. Great leaders that we know of are all motivated with the failures that they have experienced in their past life. Who and where they are right now are because of self-help leader values that they've learned in their experiences. Majority of the great leaders and teachers claim that their experiences have contributed a lot in letting them choose the right thing and to become better people. In every experience that we encounter in this life we need to learn from it. Whether it's a bad or good experience, it really doesn't matter. This is connected to the statement that says; "continue the good ones and eliminate the bad ones". You are a role model to everyone if you are a leader. You set good examples for them. If you are a good leader, you give service to your people rather than being served by them. But you first need to obtain this to yourself before you could do all of them. You first need to be a leader to yourself before becoming a leader to others, that's what self-help leader is all about. You are not going to be an effective leader if you don't know how to simply lead your own self. We can connect this to the statement that says; "you must live what you teach and teach what you live" for you to become a great leader. Another self-help leadership idea that you can learn in becoming an effective leader is to be a positive thinker. You're a problem solver and not trouble maker. You view things positively no matter how negative the situation is. You always think of a positive solution to the problem instead of making it worse. You lead your people by serving them and giving them the needs and comfort that they need. You love the people that you lead as the way you love yourself. |
