| An international climate summit started Monday in Cancun,
Mexico. Most analysts donīt expect the Cancun climate summit
to result in a severe international understanding on the way
to package with climate change. The main issue at hand is
whether the United Countries can be counted on to broker a
meaningful understanding among emerging markets and the
developed world climate change not really going deeper yet What the world will do with climate change might be determined by the Cancun climate summit. If the outcomes of last Decemberīs Copenhagen climate summit are any indication, procrastination could be the consensus. The last-minute non-deal came with the Copenhagen Accord. The carbon emission reduction was completely ignored. climate change plans have to be shared by both developing and developed nations with the Copenhagen Accord which means nothing really has to be done. There were no plans for emissions reductions discussed. Nations focus on fault, not solutions Chances of a legally binding climate change treaty emerging from the Cancun climate summit are seen by analysts as remote at best. The United States of America blames China for scuttling an actual deal at Copenhagen. China claims it is the United States fault though. The carbon emissions crisis came from someplace else if you ask developing nations. They say developed countries have to solve it as it came from years of industrialization. A compromise is the hope of developed nations. The undeveloped and developed countries do not have much faith in the United Countries. It very likely wonīt be there to help. China really doing things while the United States of America is more interested in politics Despite the failed Copenhagen Accord, China has been aggressively investing in clean energy. The worldīs largest manufacturer of solar panels and wind turbines comes from China. This is a large change. It seems the country is going to be on top with other things also. Clean coal technology and efficient nuclear reactors are on that list. The carbon market to curb emissions in the United States of America stopped with the Senate. Also, absolutely nothing is going to happen with the United States at the Cancun summit considering the Republicans have taken over the house starting in 2011.
