Indian bike market is not more a garden of economy and dull bikes, which were only good in fuel economy. Times changing and so is the Indian market, the Indian bike fanatics are ready to spend on their motorbikes, and that’s the reason why the coveted motorbike makers like Harley Davidson and Ducati have entered the market with their top models. But lets not talk about those, lets see what average bike customer in India can get. We recently saw the 250cc Kawasaki Ninja entering the Indian market, and now to give it a tough competition Hero Honda is launching an all new Hero Honda Karizma ZMR.

The all new Hero Honda Karizma ZMR is the next generation bike from Hero Honda and belongs to the premium Karizma series. The all new Hero Honda Karizma ZMR has a 225cc engine, which is the same that we saw in its previous model, but this time it comes with a programmable fuel injection (PGM-Fi) technology, which also is known as Karizma Fi. This new PGM-Fi or Karizma Fi technology used in the ZMR results in better fuel efficiency, more power and superb speed.

Some other key highlights for the Hero Honda Karizma ZMR includes the bikes’ compliance with BS-III emission norms, availability in plenty of vigorous colors such as in moon yellow, pearl white, sports red, vibrant blue and panther black, 225cc Programmable fuel injection (PGM-Fi) engine generating maximum power of 17.6 BHP @7000rpm and a maximum torque of 18.35Nm @6000 rpm. The hydraulic shock absorber suspension at the front end and the 5 step adjustable iGRS (inverted Gas Reservoir System) suspension on the rear tyres make sure that the rider doesn’t feel the bumps and hurdles of the road.

The best thing about the Hero Honda Karizma ZMR is that the bike has an affordable price tag of 91,000 (onwards), which in comparison to the price tag of Kawasaki Ninja is way to less and won’t be a bigger headache for the bike fanatics. Also considering the fact that the two bikes doesn’t have much of the difference in terms of power, if you are not into any sort of hardcore biking, or just want a decent sports bike for you, I think considering Hero Honda Karizma ZMR will give you maximum return for your money. So, as the ad campaign of the Karizma says “Dhak Dhak Go”, go for the Karizma ZMR.
