Neurolinguistic Programming And Fast Phobia Treatment |

| Neurolinguistic programming recommends a fast cure for
treating different phobias, a sort of self-oriented
treatment that requires the subject to partly detach himself
from a phobic experience. This curative procedure is based
on a controlled and induced dissociation from any menace.
The doubled dissociation phase occurs only into a safe
environment where the subject finds the means to analyze
objectively his responses to phobic stimuli. The whole experience happens according to a pre-established scenario where the person easily visualizes relevant instances of a phobic experience. Usually, some exterior elements are used to turn as realistic as possible the expected projection. The person suffering from phobia is asked to imagine that he is sitting in the front row of a cinema hall, then, he is required to enter the projection and still remaining on the chair (double dissociation). Repeated projections, in black and white, or in colored display, backwards and forwards visualizations, are the main techniques to help the person face gradually his inner fears. Gradually, the person leaves negative fears behind as he is more and more exposed to phobic events. On this principle, the patient is gaining step by step full control of his feelings and perceptions. Stimuli that before recreated phobic events, do not have anymore the same impact, somehow they have lost prior significance or the basic symbol that was previously assigned to them. NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) strongly supports individuals to fully explore their inner power while fighting various emotional disorders based on their emotional strengths. |
