  Content writing can include many types of writing. Content writing now encompasses all sorts of content, not just in print, but also for on the web. Content writing is the main form of driving traffic to a website. It is part of the marketing of the website. The more content that a site has, the better it is found by the search engines. However, there needs to be rich content that is added, that is useful to the people visiting the site.

Many sites have turned to content writing to offer more to their customers than just the products they sell. They use a content writer to add the articles and information. A content writer can create any type of content that is needed. Part of what a content writer does is to create SEO content writing. SEO is search engine optimized content writing. SEO ensures that the search engines find the content writing online.

SEO content writing adds keywords and secondary keywords to the content, so that they are the same keywords that the site uses or similar keywords that the site uses. The content writing is still rich content, however the words used are paid attention to a little more to make sure that it will be found by search engines. SEO content writing is not as easy as it sounds. If there are too many keywords added to the content writing, the search engine may consider it keyword stuffing and actually give it a lower page ranking.

However, if there is not enough keywords, then it will not be found by the search engines either. There has to be the right balance created by the content writer to make sure it is found and searchable.
